Good afternoon. Today I will explain a small change to a model borrowing card. First, I will describe the problem. Then, I will show our revision and the question we still need to answer.
The old card had a code and a borrowing date, but it had no space for the return status. A reader could see when an item was borrowed, but not whether it was available again. We added a clearly labelled return-status box. We also moved the date away from the edge so that it would be easier to find.
We have checked the wording, but we have not tested the card with actual users yet. Our next question is: can a reader find the return status without help? If the supervisor agrees, we will conduct a small voluntary test. The card is a proposal, not an official record. Thank you. I am ready to hear your questions about the design and the planned test.

Answer the question asked
If asked “Why did you change the label?”, begin with a reason: “Because the date was difficult to find.” Do not answer only with a colour description. If a question has two parts, separate them: “First, the cost… Second, the reading test…”. A concise answer can still include evidence.
Clarify before answering
“Do you mean the total cost or the cost per card?” helps resolve an ambiguous question. “Could you explain what you mean by successful?” asks for the criterion. Clarification is a communication skill, not a way to avoid every difficult question. Setelah jelas, jawab sesuai data yang tersedia.
Acknowledge a limit
