Terjemahan utuh

Failure did not turn Columbus' determination away from his efforts, in fact he continued to contact the kings and ask them for help until Allah provided help for him from the Spanish rulers. So they gave him three ships in which there were one hundred and twenty sailors. Then he sailed in the year one thousand four hundred and ninety-two in the Atlantic Ocean heading west. And he sailed for days, nights, and weeks while the sailors were bored and restless because they saw nothing to indicate their nearness to the expected land. And Columbus calmed and reassured them with all forms of patience and consolation and gave them hopes and dreams with promises that were embellished until they appeared to them a bird flying over the surface of the water. So they cried out for joy because they had almost reached their goal and looked intently before them but the night had lowered its curtains so as to hide the world from sight. And when they were sailing while their hearts were fluctuating between disappointment and hope, suddenly they saw a light moving in the distance, so they felt they had good news and were happy and still waited for dawn with patience that had run out, that is, they couldn't wait any longer. And when morning broke they saw before them an island that was green and fresh as if it were a paradise for eternity. The fragrant aroma of its plants wafted in the air and perfumed it. So they got into their small boats and raced towards land until they reached it. Then they found a group of people who had approached the shore watching the people who had come down to their land. And at this time the two groups got to know each other and shook hands and each of them was inclined to fantasies and imagines about what he might gain in the form of goodness arising from this relationship and meeting. And this island is one of the Bahama Islands and the beginning of the introduction to the American continent. So Columbus returned to Spain bringing examples of the riches of that country and news about them spread in Europe so people were glorifying and praising him.
